PROCUREMENT METHOD: NATIONAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING (NCB)

CLIENT AND SOURCE OF FUNDS: ENERGY UTILITY CORPORATION LTD (EUCL)

1. Energy Utility Corporation Limited (EUCL) hereby invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the “Tender for purchase of spare parts to connect Mukungu PHPP to the national grid”. The participation to the competition is open on equal conditions to all companies specialized in the field.
2. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) in accordance with the Procurement Procedures Manual of REG/EUCL as modified to date, and the participation to the competition is open on equal conditions to all companies specialized in the field, that meet the minimum qualification criteria as detailed in the SBD.
3. Tender Documents may be obtained on any working day from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at EUCL Headquarter, 1^st Floor, Room N° G114, in the Secretariat Office of the Procurement Management of EUCL, P.O Box 5634 Kigali. E-mail: procurement-eucl@eucl.reg.rw, upon presentation of a proof payment of a non-refundable fee of ten thousand Rwandan Francs (10,000 Frw) deposited to Account N° 25044962-01-96 opened at I & M Bank, Rwanda.
4. Well printed bids, properly bound and presented in two copies one of which is the original must reach the Secretariat of the Procurement Management at the address mentioned below not later than 20 /11/2024 at 10:00 am. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened. The address referred to above is:

5. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at EUCL-REG main board room in a public session on 20/11/2024 at 10:30 am local time.
6. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of Eight Hundred Thousand Rwandan Francs (800,000 Frw) issued by a reputable financial institution recognized in Rwanda, with the validity period of one hundred fifty (150) days from the opening date of bids.
7. The bids will remain valid for 120 days starting from the deadline of bids submission.
8. The Outer envelope should clearly indicate the tender number and title.
