1. Invitation for Bids:
   The Energy Utility Corporation Limited (EUCL) invites eligible bidders to submit bids for the supply of various dependable electrical spare parts to all power plants, as detailed in the statement of requirements.

   • This tender comprises one (1) indivisible Lot.
   • Participation is open to all companies specializing in this field.

2. Bidding Document Collection:

   • Available at REG-EUCL Headquarters, 1st Floor, Room No. G114, in the Secretariat Office of the Procurement Management of EUCL, P.O. Box 5634 Kigali.
   • Contact: chiuwenza@eucl.reg.rw.
   • Payment of a non-refundable fee of 10,000 Rwandan Francs (10,000 Frw) is required to obtain the document. Payment should be made to Account No. 2001161020000012 at NCBA Bank, Rwanda.

3. Bid Security Requirement:

   • A Bid Security of 500,000 Rwandan Francs (500,000 Frw) is mandatory.
   • The security must be issued by a reputable financial institution recognized in Rwanda.
   • Validity: 150 days from the bid opening date.

4. Site Visit Schedule:
   A compulsory site visit is scheduled as follows:

   • Nyabarongo: 20/11/2024 at 16:00 PM.
   • Mukungwa: 21/11/2024.
   • Ntaruka: 21/11/2024.
   • Jabana 20MW: 22/11/2024.
   • Nasho: 22/11/2024.

5. Bid Submission:

   • Well-printed bids, properly bound, must be submitted in two copies (one original and one copy).
   • Submission Deadline: 5/12/2024 at 10:00 AM.
   • Late and electronic bids will be rejected.

6. Submission Address:

   • Room No. G114, Secretariat of Procurement Management, Kigali – Rwanda.

7. Bid Opening:

   • Bids will be opened in a public session on 5/12/2024 at 10:30 AM local time at the REG-EUCL Headquarters conference room.
   • Bidders’ representatives are welcome to attend in person.

8. Validity of Bids:

   • Bids will remain valid for 120 days from the submission deadline.

9. Outer Envelope:

   • The outer envelope must clearly indicate the tender reference number and title.

10. Bidding Conduct:

• The bidding will follow the REG Procurement Procedures Manual.
