Terms of Reference: Purchase of Smartphones

1. Introduction:

1.1 Rwanda Women’s Network is seeking proposals for the purchase of smartphones to meet the communication and operational needs of its staff.

2. Objectives:

2.1 To acquire high-quality smartphones with advanced features to enhance communication and productivity.

2.2 Ensure compatibility with the organization's existing technology infrastructure.

2.3 Obtain competitive pricing and favourable terms from reputable vendors

2.4 Facilitate a transparent and fair procurement process.

3. Scope:

3.1 Provide detailed specifications for the required smartphones, including but not limited to: - Operating system - Processor speed – RAM 4GB and above128 GBs and above storage capacity

3.2 Quantity: 17 smartphones

3.3 They must have Android 13 and above.

4. Eligibility Criteria:

4.1 Interested vendors must have a proven track record in supplying smartphones of the specified quality.

4.2 Vendors should submit a company profile

5. Proposal Submission:

5.1 Deadline for proposal submission: 29 November 2023

5.2 Proposals should be submitted electronically to info@rwandawomennetwork.org  

 5.3 Late proposals will not be considered.

6. Evaluation Criteria:

6.1 Criteria for evaluating proposals may include, but are not limited to: - Compliance with specifications - Price competitiveness - Warranty and after-sales support - Vendor reputation

6.2 The Rwanda Women’s Network reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.

7. Contractual Terms:

7.1 The selected vendor will be required to enter into a formal contract with the organization.

7.2 The contract will include terms related to delivery schedules, payment terms, and warranty provisions.
