Background
Women for Women Rwanda (WfW- Rwanda) is a national organization created and legally registered in 2020. The organization recently transitioned from Women for Women International that has been operating in Rwanda since 1997.
As a result of the transition, WfW-Rwanda is rebranding and part of this process includes creating a new website. It is in that regard that we are seeking the services of an individual or a firm to design and build a new website. The website’s main functions will be to showcase and share the activities and work of WfW-Rwanda to all stakeholders and general public that would be interested in knowing what WfW-Rwanda do.
Scope Of Assignment
The hired service provider will be required to create (design, develop, test, and implement) a web platform within the designated timeline which meets the following criteria:
• Develop the user-friendly (both on the front and back end) design, layout, structure, all including strong visual language and a responsive design for the website by following an iterative development process with the involvement and support of the WfW-Rwanda team who will provide content.
• Develop an Interactive, appealing, highly usable, and responsive web design that is easy to use.
• Content Management: The solution should allow authorised project staff (or appointed personnel) to edit and update the website including the ability to create, remove, edit and publish content.
• Integrate effective functions such as:
• Social media platforms integration
• Blogging platform and discussion boards
• Calendar
• Linkages to an easily managed e-mail newsletter: The system should provide a feature to allow authorised content administrators (or other authorised administrators) to contact all or group/community members. This feature may be used to facilitate the dissemination of newsletters.
• An easy way to manage visitors and those interested in receiving updates about Wfw-Rwanda
• Search engine friendly
• Detailed SEO strategy
• Site Statistics/Management Reports: The solution should provide authorised users with a number of relevant reports, for example user registration, site usage, and other relevant statistical data.
• Provide guidance on web hosting needs and security setups and administration privileges and controls.
• Develop a clear and accessible user guide and troubleshooting manual for the website
• Train relevant staff on how to manage the new website and how to use the guide
• Provide regular maintenance of the website.
• Providing troubleshooting support when website is down
Qualifications And Skills
• Ability to meet the requirements above.
• Having at least five years’ work experienced in the field of IT as a website designer/developer and programmer
• Previous experiences designing engaging user-friendly websites
• Adaptive/Responsive Design for cross-platform/devices such as tablet and mobile phone.

Quotations should be structured as follows and provide complete details as indicated:
• Company Profile (Board of Directors, Office location(s); key staff to be involved in website building and their relevant experience etc.);
• Proposed Methodology / Approach and detailed Timeline with Deliverables;
• Proposed Technology (with justification);-please highlight the pros & cons of the technology proposed;
• Detailed Cost Break-down (Design, Programming, Maintenance; etc)
• Details of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategy and training of Project Personnel in how to go about creating and managing content; Analytics and website monitoring report capabilities;
• Sample(s) of similar work-done (please list active web addresses);
• Two Reference from previous clients
